Hello and welcome to Silkisondan Karate. My name is Brian Kennedy - I'm a 3rd degree black belt and a traditional Karate instructor. I have been involved with Martial Arts for over 30 years. I'm the head instructor and owner of the school. I've been trained and certified by Master Thinh in his style of Karate. Other Information: Mr. Kennedy has a enjoyed a life-long interest in the martial arts. He is a third degree Black Belt in Silkisondan Karate and a certified martial arts instructor through Black Belt Schools International. His training includes early training in Northern Shaolin Kung Fu, Shito Ryu Karate, Yang style Tai Chi as well as his many years of training with Master Thinh in Silkisondan Karate. Mr. Kennedy is a Tactical Master Instructor in Compliance, Direction and Takedown, a non-deadly force personal protection system. He is certified in first aid and CPR as a Medic First Care provider. Mr. Kennedy holds a B.S. from Rutgers University and received his post graduate degree at Virginia Commonwealth University.
